Training and Technical Assistance for CARES

The CDTC partners with Working for Quality Child Care (W4QCC) to provide comprehensive and readily available T&TA that supports the stability and professional development of individuals affiliated with California’s early care and education workforce. The T&TA is available to county Children and Families Commission staff, CARES program administrators, community college faculty and staff, AB212 program staff and CARES participants. The T&TA includes the following components:

  • CDTC/W4QCC - Sponsoring a training and technical assistance conference
    On April 28-29, 2008 the CARES Conference will be held at the Westin Hotel, in Millbrae. For conference details and follow up, visit the CARES Training & Technical Assistance website or call (415) 808-7327.
  • CDTC/W4QCC - Training of county
    We support Children and Families Commission staff, county credentialing analysts, AB212 program administrators, and Local Child Care Planning Council staff.
  • CDTC/W4QCC - Convening regional meetings
    We convene meetings to facilitate coordination and planning among county CARES programs. Visit the project's Events.
  • W4QCC - Hosting a technical assistance telephone hotline
    The hotline is available Monday through Friday - 9AM to 5PM. The hotline number is (415) 808-7327. Messages left during other times will be returned within 48 hours.
  • W4QCC - Maintaining an interactive/informational website for CARES administrators
